content
|
This learner resource is divided into
four sections.
Section 1 describes how
organisational policies, procedures and practice, underpin organisational
activities in the community.
Section 2 explains how a
community is defined and the factors which influence the diverse needs and
concerns within a community.
Section 3 emphasises the
importance of effective communication and working as a member of a team.
Section 4 discusses
promotional opportunities and how an organisation can encourage community
participation through these events.
